On September 11, 2001, the horrific World Trade Center attacks took the lives of 343 New York Firefighters, first responders, and their trusted canines.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of their brave battle and honor the fallen heroes forever, the Royal Dutch Mint commissioned renowned US Mint Master Coin Designer Joel Iskowitz to design a unique coin.
On the obverse side, you’ll see an exquisitely carved firefighter with his trusted canine by his side, his fire helmet emblazoned with the number 343 commemorating the fallen first responders, and the words “Never Forget.” The reverse bears a perfect image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The 9/11 Never Forget gold coin is minted by the Royal Dutch Mint and accepted as legal tender by the Solomon Islands.
